Taking its name from its label on William Clark’s original town map, the Downtown Arts District is mainly South of Charleston, running along Main, Commerce, and Casino Center. It’s home to numerous galleries and lofts, our Brewery District, and some fantastic local restaurants.

Chicago Joe’s

Serving lunch and dinner Tuesday through Friday and dinner only on Saturdays this neighborhood gem opened in 1975, it’s inside a house built in 1933, and still serves consistently fantastic Italian favorites. Chicago Joe’s was a place to hang for the mob connected an many celebrities in Las Vegas for many years. Be sure to make a reservation since there are only 50 seats in this small space. Attached to the Arts Factory on the corner of Charleston and Main Streets this craft cocktail and American cuisine spot has an expansive outdoor area featuring live music and DJ’s. Burgers, cheesesteaks, grilled cheese, and chicken sandwiches, salads, tacos, and pub favorites are accompanied by specialty cocktails and a large list of bottled and draft beers. Berlin Bar

This dark hideaway on Charleston Blvd features a huge list of craft beer from the US and around the world. Their menu runs the gamut of bar food from nachos, fries, chips and salsa, along with hot dogs, cheesesteak, and tacos. Hrs Sun-Thur noon-3a, Fri-Sat noon-4a. (702) 463-9919. 

Cornish Pasty Co

Ester’s Kitchen

Located around the corner from its physical address this buzzy Italian restaurant can be difficult to get into (make a reservation). Ester’s serves elevated pasta dishes, pizzas, salads, and seasonal dishes for dinner and lunch and has brunch on Saturdays and Sunday. Hrs 11a-3p then 5p-11p Mon-Fri, 10a-3p then 5p-11p Sat-Sun. This wine bar has a vast collection of uncommon and hard to find wines at reasonable prices. Talk to any of the servers to explain your taste and they will find you the perfect glass or bottle. You can accompany your drink with a charcuterie board and enjoy the music inside or people watching on their dog friendly outdoor space shared with Crafthouse next door. Crafthouse Brewery

Jammyland Cocktail Bar & Reggae Kitchen

Main St Provisions
